Sometimes in horrible times like this I read the psalms. I don’t know why they help but somehow they do - even if I’m reading them with my brain and emotions in a cyclone. Maybe because they don’t hold back in the negative emotions - rage? Fear? Despair? And still are in conversation with something bigger than us. 🌻

I'm so sorry. Its hard for you to discern from far away and over a video call. I can only imagine how stressful this is! Is there a non-family member who could visit him? Is there a jail ministry that does visitation? Does he have a lawyer? A social worker? This just sounds exhausting!
